Biography
Stef Bracke is a PhD student at the Centre Leo Apostel (Vrije Universiteit Brussel). He studied philosophy (BA and MA) at Ghent University and graduated from the interuniversity Research Master of Philosophy of Ghent University, Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the University of Antwerp. As his main research interests concern the history and philosophy of science, he currently works on a PhD project on Johann Heinrich Lambert’s (1728-1777) conception of science. In particular, Stef’s research focusses on the relation between semiotics and scientific methodology in Lambert’s work.
