Aims and scope
Schedule
Both programme (pdf, version 2 March) and abstracts (pdf, version 15 March) are available now.
Location
PMP2007 will take place in the building of the University Foundation, near the centre of Brussels. Click here for a plan.
Accommodation
The invited speakers will be staying at Argus Hotel (6, Rue Capitaine Crespel), a ten minute walk away from the University Foundation. On this site and/or this site, participants can find a variety of other hotels in the vicinity of the conference location, e.g., Sun Hotel (38, Rue Du Berger), Beverly Hills and Residences (71, Rue du Prince Royal), Jolly Hotel du Grand Sablon (2-4, Rue Bodenbroekstraat), Leopold Hotel (35, Luxemburgstraat), Sofitel Brussels Toison d'Or (40, Avenue de la Toison d'Or), Hilton Brussels (38, Boulevard De Waterloo), or Stanhope Hotel (9, Rue du Commerce). For low budgets, youth hostels Jacques Brel or Bruegel might be interesting to check out.
Early registration
All future delegates, apart from invited speakers, are kindly requested to send an e-mail to clwf@vub.ac.be in order to officially confirm their participation. Please include your full name and affiliation, and indicate whether or not you will attend to the conference dinner (including choice of menu; see below). Receipt should always be acknowledged.
To complete your early registration, we should also have received a fee of €100 before the 5th of March, either by cheque (without costs) or preferably by transfer to our conference account at Fortis Bank 001-0686455-62, IBAN: BE51 0010 6864 5562, BIC: GEBABEBB. Always mention "CONI202/FILOINK4" and your name. After that date, the fee will rise by €20.
Conference dinner
On Tuesday night, we invite all participants to join us to the restaurant Aux Armes de Bruxelles, right in the heart of Old Brussels, and just a stone's throw away from the Grand-Place. Since 1921, Aux Armes has become a household name in the historical quarter of l'Ilot Sacré. Its tasteful decor, long established tradition of Belgian cuisine and service of high quality have helped make this one of the more exclusive restaurants of Brussels. The offer is a four-course menu (starter, main course, cheese, dessert), plus coffee, with an option of either fish or meat (to be decided as you register!). Vegetarians prepared to work out an ad hoc solution should contact local co-organizer Karen François. Budget: €50, wine included, to be payed together with your fee.
